Beauty in the Breaking

There is beauty in the breaking. Not the kind we ask for, not the kind we see coming—but the kind that brings us to our knees and somehow remakes us.
I didn’t know the cracks in my heart would be where God’s light would shine through. I thought I had to keep it all together, to present the version of me that looked strong and composed. But what I’ve learned in the breaking is that God does not ask for our performance—He asks for our presence.
He is near to the brokenhearted. He does not despise the messy tears, the unanswered questions, or the silence between prayers. In fact, those places are often where He whispers the loudest.
To the woman who feels like her story is shattered, may I gently say: you are still a story worth telling. God is not finished. There is still purpose in the pieces. And even now, He is writing beauty into your breaking.
Let your pen be your prayer. Let your pages hold your pain. And know this—He is with you in every word.
